Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Inaugurates 'New Sports Park' Spanning 5.7 Hectares
Located in Addis Ababa, the park features monuments honoring 15 Ethiopian athletes who have won gold medals for the country at Olympic Games, the Prime Minister's office said in a statement on social media.
The park includes:
🟠An Olympic‑standard swimming pool;
🟠Regulation football, basketball, and tennis courts;
🟠An 800‑meter running track;
🟠105 new retail shops and a plaza with a capacity of 3,000 people;
🟠A two‑level underground parking lot for 300 cars.
