Ethiopia's Electricity Generation Nearly Doubled Since 2019: Ethiopian Electric Power

The power generation capacity has reached 9,760 megawatts with annual energy production of 29.5 terawatt-hours, according to the Ethiopian Electric Power.

The Ethiopian Electric Power currently manages:

17 hydropower plants;

5 wind power plants;

1 geothermal plant;

1 power plant generating energy from dry waste.

The revenue from sustainable power sales and technology companies has reached $338.7 million, the organization said.
