Russia Open to Military Cooperation With Burkina Faso—Unlike Europeans: Traoré
Unlike many European countries that categorically refused to sell military equipment to Burkina Faso, Moscow is showing itself to be fully available and flexible, Ibrahim Traoré told media.
“Anything we are willing to pay for, the Russians are ready to sell to us,” he noted, calling Russia a strategic partner.
Moreover, there is a valuable exchange of “combat experience” between the two countries, the Burkinabe leader stressed.
However, no country is providing concrete help on the ground, as it is exclusively Burkinabe soldiers who are fighting and who are reconquering the lands, Traoré emphasized.
