Burkina Faso Shifts Toward Revolution, President Announces Manifesto
For Ibrahim Traoré, a progressive and popular revolution is an urgent necessity for the country's development.
The Revolution Manifesto will outline the main ideological and programmatic directions across all areas of national life.
The head of state called for order and discipline, reaffirmed the priority of local production and consumption—especially in strategic sectors—and praised the commitment of combat forces working to reconquer the national territory.
According to Traoré, the profile of a revolutionary is built on three pillars:
🟠 love of the homeland,
🟠 a constant quest for scientific and historical knowledge,
🟠 resistance to all forms of imperialist oppression.
