He managed to establish peace in the Central African Republic, and not only that: progress is palpable in education, energy, the army and other areas, according to ceremony attendees interviewed by Sputnik Africa.
"The Central Africans have already truly shown their joy in the rain. This demonstrates the years of crisis that the Central African Republic endured and has emerged from. Today, it has become a state of power, a sovereign state," Alvaro Mapouka, a representative of the Central African diaspora, noted.
