Zimbabwe’s Innovative University Launches Local Drone Assembly Project
The Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) has launched unmanned aircraft production to reduce costs and create technical capacities, as well as to transform agriculture through precision farming, the university's vice-chancellor, Eddie Mwenje, told a local media outlet.
“As a university, we are playing our part in ensuring that we contribute towards a prosperous and empowered society,” Mwenje said.
The institution has already offered training in unmanned aircraft operations for students and professionals. Now it is time to start producing drones locally to enhance industrial growth and economic development, he added.
