Russia Ready to Offer All Stages of Geological Exploration to African Partners, Says Rosnedra
There is very strong interest in Russia from Africa, both in the technologies and expertise as well as in investments, Oleg Kazanov, the head of Russia's Federal Subsoil Resources Management Agency (Rosnedra), told Russian media.
Russian companies are already working on the continent and are certainly welcome there, Kazanov added.
While the main focus of Russian geologists remains neighboring countries, the official noted that African countries have shown significant interest in Russia's geological capabilities, which are fully on par with global standards.
Russia can offer early-stage regional geological studies, geophysical and geochemical methods, and prospecting work, he explained.
