The government will set price ceiling using the petroleum development levy, though a prolonged war could become an emergency, Treasury Secretary John Mbadi said.
Temporary outages have been caused by surging demand, clarified Kenya's largest fuel retailer, Vivo Energy.
Kenya's government will not stand for any artificial oil shortages engineered to enrich profiteers, President of Kenya William Ruto stated earlier.
