On behalf of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, 313 tonnes of medical supplies were delivered by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The humanitarian aid was handed over to authorized representatives of the Iranian government in Astara.
This is the second large consignment of medical supplies.
The successful operation was made possible thanks to the assistance of Azerbaijan.
