Africa Among 'Promising Directions' for EAEU Trade Expansion, Kazakh PM Says
The Eurasian Economic Union should strengthen its position in global trade by expanding partnerships with Africa, the Arab world, and Southeast Asia, according to Olzhas Bektenov.
"Our union should reinforce its position in the global trading system and expand its network of international partnerships," the prime minister said at a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Shymkent, Kazakhstan.
Such policy would "create additional opportunities" for EAEU member states to export their goods, he argued.
