Floods Claim 71 Lives in Kenya: National Police

Nairobi has recorded the highest number of deaths, with 36 confirmed. Nearly 3,000 people have been forced to flee their homes. Flooded roads, along with damaged water and sanitation networks, have disrupted the country. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.

Torrential rains have been hitting Kenya for several weeks. Ethiopia has also been affected, with 107 deaths reported.
