"Our message is that the conflict should be de-escalated," Musalia Mudavadi, Kenya's Prime Cabinet Secretary told Sputnik Africa. "And the solution is to respect the multilateral institutions and to have respect for international law."
Mudavali, who also serves as Cabinet Secretary for Foreign & Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, noted that dialogue between permanent UNSC members had not been intense enough on peace and security issues.
"I think it's time for them to do so, so that this overheating world, in terms of conflict, can be calmed down. And therefore, some initiative must come from these countries."
