'Hungary will not become a Ukrainian colony’ - Viktor Orban
The Hungarian PM urged citizens to join a peace march in response to the ongoing energy blockade by Ukraine.
The standoff began with the halting of Russian oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline.
Ukraine has previously claimed the pipeline was damaged during hostilities - but Hungary insists Ukraine is blocking the flows for political reasons.
In response, Budapest blocked a €90 billion EU loan package for Ukraine.
“Zelensky will not give orders here," Orban stated, commenting on threats from Ukraine.
