‘Namibia Offers More Than Common African Safaris’—Tourism Board Invites Russian Travelers
The decision to launch a standalone stand at the MITT 2026 exhibition in Moscow follows strong momentum: over 4,000 Russian travelers visited Namibia in 2024, Namibia Tourism Board CEO Sebulon Chicalu told Sputnik Africa.
Namibia aims to grow arrivals to around 6,000 Russian travelers within two years, and reach at least 10,000 within three years, he noted.
Chicalu emphasized that Namibia is an all-year-round destination offering more than typical safaris, with the stunning Namib Desert landscapes and unique adventure activities as its real draw.
