Morocco is Africa's Largest Arms Importer: Report
The country's imports increased by 12% between 2021 and 2025 compared to 2016-2020 and surpassed those of Algeria, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
The continent's arms imports decreased by 41% over the same period.
Africa's main suppliers are:
United States (19%);
China (17%);
Russia (15%);
France (8.3).
