Iran's Ambassador to Kenya, Dr. Ali Gholampour, has recently suggested that the escalating conflict involving the US and Israel may be a calculated distraction from the resurfacing Epstein files—shifting global attention away from sensitive political issues in Washington.
However, the situation is more complex, according to Kenyan political analyst Bushebi Jr.
While the diplomat's arguments cannot be dismissed, broader geopolitical calculations—including energy politics, oil market positioning, and regional security—are also shaping US strategy in the Middle East, Bushebi told Sputnik Africa.
