Côte d’Ivoire Slashes Cocoa Farm-Gate Price by Almost 60% as Global Prices Plunge: Agriculture MinisterFacing the fall in prices, the authorities decided to drop the farm-gate price from 2,800 to 1,200 CFA francs per kilo (approximately $2.13), Bruno Koné, the Minister of Agriculture, announced."Since December 2025, we have all observed a collapse in the price of cocoa on the international market. The drop is on the order of 70%. These market prices force us to make an adjustment," he added.
