Nigeria to Receive Lenacapavir, HIV Prevention Drug With Almost 100% Effectiveness in Clinical Trials: Media The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) has secured regulatory approval from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, a local news outlet reported, citing a NACA statement.“This is part of the government’s commitment to strengthen HIV prevention and accelerate progress toward epidemic control,” it added.Administered just twice a year by injection, lenacapavir offers a more convenient alternative to daily oral HIV prevention medication, the news outlet noted.
