Iran-US Nuclear Talks to Resume in Early March: Media
New indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington could result in reaching an interim agreement, a senior Iranian official told a Western news outlet.
The process resumed in early February with a meeting in Oman, where fundamental principles for a future agreement guaranteeing the exclusively peaceful use of Iranian nuclear energy were outlined. A second round was held on February 17 in Geneva, with Tehran maintaining its right to uranium enrichment.
Trump maintains an unyielding stance, demanding the complete elimination of Iran's nuclear arsenal or face a military strike more devastating than the one in June 2025. The US has also reinforced its military presence in the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf in early 2026.
