Burkina Faso Records 48% Drop in Malaria Deaths in 2025: Health Minister"These unprecedented results reflect the impact of national leadership and strengthened governance in the fight against malaria," Robert Lucien Jean-Claude Kargougou stated.The number of malaria-related deaths fell from 3,523 cases in 2024 to ~1,900 in 2025, the minister noted. Infection cases also dropped by 32%, declining from 10,805,000 in 2024 to 7,329,000 in 2025.
