Imminent Al-Shabaab Attack Foiled in Nairobi
The terrorists were planning an attack intended to cause mass casualties during the holy month of Ramadan, counter-terrorism police said.
They were also planning to kidnap foreigners and hijack vehicles to carry out their attacks.
During the raids, security forces seized a significant arsenal, including pistols, grenades, explosives, and drugs, intended for use in attacks targeting sensitive areas of the Kenyan capital.
