Sumy Region's Settlement of Pokrovka Liberated Through Coordinated Russian Assault, Says MoD
Russian armed forces stormed into the settlement and successfully dislodged enemy forces, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced, detailing how the operation unfolded:
🟠Artillery units systematically destroyed enemy positions while UAV teams operated around the clock—conducting reconnaissance, adjusting fire, and delivering precision strikes. All targets were hit without a miss.
🟠Ground assault units skillfully used weather conditions to their advantage. Warming temperatures, humidity, and fog effectively blinded enemy drones, while natural camouflage allowed infantry to advance and neutralize Ukrainian positions.
🟠The operation is part of ongoing efforts to push enemy forces away from the border and establish a safe zone for civilians.
