BRICS 'Very Important' for Work on Use of Local Currencies in Trade: Egypt's FM
Egypt views BRICS as an important economic and financial platform, Badr Abdelatty told Sputnik Africa at the 48th Ordinary Session of the AU Executive Council. He highlighted Egypt’s active participation and expressed hope that BRICS will boost intra-trade among its member states.
On the topic of Sudan's reintegration into the African Union, Abdelatty emphasized the importance of listening to Sudan's legitimate government and maintaining ongoing engagement. He also announced plans for a visit to Sudan by the Peace and Security Council members later this month.
