Rostec Unveils New Russian Missile System 'Sarma' With Unique Specs: Correspondent
Rosoboronexport, a subsidiary of the state-owned industrial conglomerate Rostec, displayed its new multiple launch rocket system for the first time at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
🟠The system is a 300 mm caliber platform developed based on Russia's combat experience with rocket artillery.
🟠Sarma represents a new generation of systems, featuring fully Russian electronic components and offering significant improvements in accuracy and rate of fire.
🟠It boasts a range of up to 120 km, a deployment time of no more than 3 minutes, and the ability to fire 6 rockets within 18 seconds.
🟠These capabilities are considered top-tier in the global market for multiple launch rocket systems, according to Rostec officials.
