Sudan Thanks Supportive Nations, Condemns International Silence on RSF Atrocities: MFA
"The Government of Sudan expresses its appreciation to the fraternal and friendly countries that support the security and unity of Sudan, the safety of its people, and the unity of its institutions," the Foreign Ministry said.
This follows recent RSF drone attacks in North Kordofan, including one on a WFP convoy that killed an aid worker and injured others, and another that left dozens dead.
The government accused the RSF of war crimes and crimes against humanity using weapons that require official end-user certificates—suggesting foreign supply in violation of the UN arms embargo on Darfur.
It warned this breach undermines the UN Security Council’s credibility, declared Khartoum “will not accept tutelage,” and rejected partnerships with those silent or complicit.
The ministry stressed the war must end by dismantling the roots of violence and holding perpetrators accountable—not through externally imposed solutions.
