Construction is set to be completed and handed over in March 2026, William Ruto announced, revealing that the stadium will be renamed the Raila Odinga International Stadium, in honor of the former prime minister.
"They were busy cheating, doubts, we trusted the process... Hii ni noma sana, mtapenda [This is very impressive, you will love it]," the president stated in a recent video, showcasing the construction progress.
