Nigeria's Tinubu Orders Army Battalion to Kwara After Deadly Worro Community Attack
A new military command will lead Operation Savannah Shield to counter the terrorists and safeguard vulnerable communities, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga noted in a statement.
"It's commendable that the community members, even though Muslims, refused to be conscripted into a weird belief that promoted violence over peace and dialogue," Tinubu said.
On February 3, Boko Haram terrorists launched a deadly overnight attack on Worro community in Kaiama Local Government, killing 75 unfortunate villagers, according to reports.
