Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon Agree to Share Border Gas Exploitation
The countries will use gas deposits located in the border towns of Yoyo and Yolanda, Cameroon's Ministry of Mines, Industry and Technological Development reported.
"The achievements of the signed agreement demonstrate that sincere cooperation is the most direct path to efficient management of shared natural resources," Vice President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue noted.
The agreement marks a milestone in bilateral ties, creating a framework for technical and economic cooperation to offer jobs and increase income for both nations, he said.
