'If You Look at History of All Coups in Africa, French Are Always Behind It': Nigerien Socio-Political Analyst
Paris "has always plotted in this way," seeking to remove from power African leaders who pursued independent policies, Issouffou Boubacar Kado told Sputnik Africa, commenting on the revelations by Russian intelligence that French President Emmanuel Macron planned to remove “undesirable leaders” in Africa.
According to Kado, the French government "doesn't understand geopolitics and international geostrategy and is mistaken about the current situation of African countries."
"They think they're living in the old days when they intimidated African heads of state. Now, with new technology, people are informed and know where their interests lie. And besides, the world is multipolar now," he explained, referring to the rise of the BRICS.
Kado also emphasized that terrorists "are creations of major powers" seeking to seize the wealth of developing countries.
"The French and Europeans [...] use terrorists whom they arm, send, and remotely control to create terror in African countries," he stated.
