France is Attempting to Destabilize Africa Since Losing Its Foothold There, Says Malian Analyst
"Since the French army was driven out of our countries, there has been a certain intensification in recent times of attempts to destabilize our countries," Ibou Sy, a Malian blogger, told Sputnik Africa.
This is how he commented on Macron's plan to eliminate "undesirable leaders" in Africa, as revealed on Monday by Russian intelligence.
Regarding the destabilization attempts, he cited attacks on tankers in Mali—against which Bamako "manages to find solutions with Russian partners"—as well as an attempted coup d'état in Burkina Faso in January and an attack on Niamey airport.
"We know that unfortunately it is always French leaders who are behind this," he noted. He also referred to the statements by the chief of the French general staff of the armed forces, who "clearly said that France must return to Africa to save Europe."
The AES countries are not the only ones targeted. Madagascar is also in Paris's sights, which would like to "topple this [new] president," Ibou Sy indicated while commenting on Moscow's warnings on the matter.
"Our people must be aware of this, and it’s crucial that they know and hold strong against this extraordinary offensive currently being carried out by the Macron regime."
