🟠Kenya’s inflation eased in January despite rising food prices due to drought, remaining within the central bank’s target range, the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement released to the media;

🟠Nigeria will be able to fully transition to domestic defense production and end imports within the next five years by strengthening its military-industrial complex, the minister of state for defense said;

🟠Ethiopia’s wheat output reached 126.69 million quintals—not including irrigated harvests—since September 2025, Abiy Ahmed noted on social media, praising local farmers;
