US ‘Peace Board’ is ‘Imperialism 2.0:’ SA’s Human Rights Organization

“One simply cannot, as a foreign agent, come into a people's land and manage their affairs,” Alie Komape, Communications & Campaigns Manager at Africa4Palestine, told Sputnik Africa. “It's colonialism, it's imperialism, it’s to see others as subhuman, for you to see yourself as superior. So, Africans must be very careful, because tomorrow it might be them.”

African countries should remain united in defending their sovereignty and resisting unilateral approaches to peace and security, he added.

Komape also stressed that Africa4Palestine works within a broad network of civil society organizations to link the Palestinian cause with wider global struggles.

“It's not a Palestine issue, it's not a Venezuela issue, it's not a Cuba issue, it's not a Congo issue, and it's not a Sudan issue, but it's a human rights issue that needs all our efforts,” he said.

South Africa continues to show solidarity with other nations, especially those that supported it during the apartheid era, as part of a shared commitment to justice and humanity, Komape added.
