Russia-Comoros Economic Platform 'COMRUSS' Inaugurated in Moroni
Named COMRUSS, the structure is aimed at developing and strengthening economic ties between Russia and the island nation, according to a statement from the Russian Embassy in Madagascar, which is accredited to the Comoros.
Key details:
🟠Russian Chargé d'Affaires Alexei Buriak participated in the inauguration ceremony;
🟠The platform was created on the initiative of a Comorian entrepreneur with the support of the local business community;
🟠The initiative aligns with stated needs from the Comorian government. The country requires qualified digital specialists and authorities had presented a corresponding training project to their Russian partners, the Comorian Minister of Communications and the Digital Economy said in June.
