Ethiopian Circus Troupe Wins First-Ever Medal for Africa at Monte Carlo Circus Festival: Ministry
Troupe Kolfe earned the Silver Clown prize – one of the four main categories – at the 48th International Monte Carlo Circus Festival in Monaco, earning high acclaim for their unique circus performance, Ethiopia’s Ministry of Culture and Sport stated.
“This achievement is an inspiration to all African circus performers who tirelessly strive to shine on the world stage,” the ministry stressed.
The festival is the world's largest, most prestigious, and number-one circus festival, where the biggest artists from around the world participate.
