Nigeria Invites Russian Investors for 'Win-Win' Mining and Energy Partnerships, Says Minister
"Nigeria is an open canvas" for responsible investment in mining and energy, Nigerian Minister of Solid Minerals Dele Alake told Sputnik on the sidelines of the Future Minerals Forum in Saudi Arabia.
The minister underscored a significant policy shift, moving away from past models of "unequal exchange" toward partnerships on a "win-win situation" and "equal exchange basis."
"We are open to business, doing business with anybody who shows a sense of responsibility to catalyze the Nigerian economy," Alake stated. "So Russia is welcome."
