Russia’s Federal Security Service Identifies British Intelligence Officer
Undeclared intelligence officer Davis Gareth Samuel had been sent to Russia under cover as Second Secretary of the Administrative and Economic Department at the British Embassy in Moscow, the FSB said.
The British national was stripped of accreditation and ordered to leave within two weeks, it noted.
Earlier on Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry summoned the UK’s Chargé d’Affaires ad interim, Deni Dolakia (in the video).
