'Very Positive' Outlook for 2026 Driven by Mining, Agriculture and Manufacturing in Zimbabwe: President The country’s priority is achieving food self-sufficiency, Emmerson Mnangagwa told a local TV broadcaster in an interview."I think we are going to have a bumper harvest this year and it is very good for everybody," he stressed. The economy is "going to do better" than last year thanks to strong fundamentals, Mnangagwa noted.“There is expansion in every sub-sector of the economy.
