Chad Signs MoU With China to Build 200MW Solar Power Infrastructure
The initiative entails the construction of five mini photovoltaic plants, each generating between 10 and 20 MW, to be installed across 15 sites in Chad, the Ministry of Water and Energy reported.
According to the ministry, the project by the Chinese company Luanquin International aims to:
🟠expand reliable, sustainable electricity across several provinces;
🟠boost local economies;
🟠improve living conditions in secondary cities.
The company’s technicians are expected in N’Djamena in the next few days to carry out the practical steps of the project.
