Russian Specialized Anti-Drone Ammunition Proves Most Effective in Training, Says Rostec
During a recent training session combining theoretical lessons and live-fire exercises, Russian servicemen tested various types of ammunition against targets, including different types of shotshells and cartridges, Rostec announced.
IGLA 100 turned out to be the standout anti-drone round, according to the Russian industrial giant.
Key details:
🟠 Loaded with ultra-hard tungsten-nickel-iron alloy shot;
🟠 Penetrates standard aluminum plates at up to 100 meters;
🟠 Dense shot pattern effectively hits and destroys FPV drones, including motors and control units;
🟠 Outperforms conventional lead shot;
🟠 Mass production began in 2024; rounds are now being delivered to troops.
