🟠Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara dissolved PM Robert Beugré Mambé’s government following the December 27, 2025 legislative elections, in which several ministers were elected as MPs, the presidency said;

🟠Ghana’s annual inflation fell to 5.4% in December 2025—the lowest since 2021—down from 23.8% a year earlier, marking the twelfth straight monthly decline, government statistician Alhassan Iddrisu said;

🟠Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and First Lady Zinash Tayachew inaugurated the Tulu Arara Integrated Model Village, capable of housing 150 families;

🟠The M23 rebel group is building a parallel state in eastern DRC—imposing taxes, running courts, and deploying security forces—while expanding control, despite recent US- and Qatari-brokered peace efforts, a UN experts’ report stated;
