Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed Inaugurates Integrated Model Village for 150 Families
The prime minister, together with First Lady Zinash Tayachew, announced the inauguration of the Tulu Arara Integrated Model Village — a project that elevates the winter charity program to a higher level.
In a social media post, Abiy outlined the features of the new village:
🟠 Covers 7,000 square meters of land;
🟠 Each house contains five rooms, including two bedrooms;
🟠 The village includes internal access roads, electricity, solar power, a fitness area, and green development initiatives;
“Development efforts integrate dairy farming, poultry rearing, and backyard vegetable gardening, while creating an integrated commercial chain that extends all the way to marketplace access,” he wrote.
