🟠The President of the Central African Republic, Faustin-Archange Touadéra, won a third term with 76.15% of the vote, according to provisional results released by the National Elections Authority;

🟠The African Union Commission called for the lifting of sanctions on Guinea following the “smooth conduct” of the presidential election;

🟠Morocco saw a record-breaking year for tourism in 2025, with nearly 20 million visitors and over $13 billion in revenue, the Ministry of Tourism announced, calling it a “historic performance;”
