'No One Can Develop Africa, But Africans': Expert

It is crucial for African countries to develop legally independent governance structures and create policies or investment funds that address each nation’s core issues, rather than over-relying on copied Western models that often clash with local cultures and economic realities, Evans Akwasi Gyasi, Senior Consultant and Director of the Trade Growth Network in Ghana, told Sputnik Africa, as the continent nears a record $1 trillion in state-owned assets under management.
