Suspension of US Entry to Mali: Government Provides Clarification
Following a reciprocity agreement reached in late December, Mali’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Friday outlining exemptions to the suspension.
US citizens with permanent residency in Mali;
US citizens holding a valid Malian visa;
Certain categories of US nationals, including athletes, diplomats, and individuals whose entry is deemed to serve Mali’s national interests.
