Rwanda National Police Celebrates Graduation of 1,903 Trainees, Emphasizing Discipline and Dedication
The trainees—including 359 women—have successfully completed the 21st intake of the Basic Police Course at Gishari Police Training School and are now ready to serve the nation, police announced.
The pass-out ceremony, officiated by Interior Minister Vincent Biruta, featured impressive drills in public order and shooting, demonstrating the trainees’ readiness and competence, according to the authorities.
Commissioner of Police Niyonshuti commended the graduates for their enthusiasm and dedication.
"The training you have completed is just the beginning. Throughout your service, you will continue to receive additional training and develop skills to effectively fulfill your duties," he said.
Discipline is the foundation of a successful police career, Niyonshuti underscored, and assured the trainees of the ongoing support from their senior officers as they embark on their service.
"The Ministry of Interior and the Government will continue strengthening the Police in capacity, skills, and numbers to protect people and their property," Minister Biruta said.
