Putin Participates in Meeting of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council
A summit of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Supreme Council is taking place in Saint Petersburg on Sunday.
Key details:
▪The EAEU is an international organization for regional economic integration with legal status under international law;
▪Full member countries: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan;
▪The EAEU leaders will discuss pressing issues, outline guidelines for further integration within the single EAEU market, and approve important documents and decisions;
▪A free trade agreement between the EAEU and Indonesia is expected to be signed;
▪Vladimir Putin will hold bilateral meetings in St. Petersburg with the Kyrgyz and Belarusian presidents, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
