Russia Extends Hand to US on Arctic Issues, Dmitriev Says
Moscow is "getting ready to work with the US in the Arctic," Russia's Special Presidential Envoy Kirill Dmitriev noted on social media.
Cooperation holds potential in hydrocarbon production, fertilizers, and rare earths, Minister of the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, Alexey Chekunkov said.
In October, Kirill Dmitriev discussed building an intercontinental tunnel between Alaska and Russia—a project requiring eight billion dollars and eight years of work.
