Russia-Africa Ministerial Conference Participants Adopt Joint Statement Following Meeting
"The directions of joint practical work are detailed in the comprehensive joint statement, which was unanimously approved and will serve as an important guide for our further efforts," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference.
🟠 The sides paid special attention to practical cooperation in trade and the economy.
🟠 Participants pledged to interact on multilateral platforms to ensure fair representation of Africa in the UN and other forums.
🟠 The sides agreed to establish contacts between the African Union and the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
