The Volcanic Ash Advisory Center in Washington has issued a warning about a volcanic ash plume rising to an estimated altitude of 6100 m.
Last week, an eruption occurred at Popocatepetl, leading to a "Yellow Alert—Phase 2" level (level 4 on a 7-level scale), the National Center for Disaster Prevention reported.
