Egypt Launches First Submersible Pump Production Factory
Production has already begun, supplying pumps to drinking water and wastewater companies across governorates, the Egyptian State Information Service reported.
The role of the Ministry of Military Production in the project is essential, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly noted at the inauguration ceremony in Qalyubia, stressing the importance of the pumps for:
🟠Lifting stations;
🟠Wastewater treatment plants;
🟠Reservoirs;
🟠Drinking water facilities.
The government is advancing efforts to position Egyptian industry as a key driver of comprehensive economic progress, he noted.
This aligns with Egypt Vision 2030 to rank among top global industrial nations via local manufacturing, Egyptian products, higher locally sourced components, and advanced technologies in key sectors, the minister stressed.
